Marketing and Digital Engagement Executive

he National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) continues to expand, and is now seeking an Marketing and Digital Engagement Executive to join their dynamic team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer. They will work closely with the PR and Events Coordinator and the Charity’s Administrator as a team, under the direction of the NBCRI Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

  • Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns to promote NBCRI’s mission and events.
  • Assist the Events and Communications Coordinator with growing NBCRI’s social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos, to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Track and report on social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Donor Engagement and Support:

  • Assist in coordinating online fundraising initiatives, including email campaigns and digital donor outreach.
  • Support developing engaging email newsletters to keep donors informed and engaged with NBCRI’s activities.
  • Help maintain the donor database, ensuring accurate donor interactions and contributions records.
  • Assist with creating compelling online content to support fundraising appeals and donor engagement.
  • Assist with the implantation of new CRM system.

Event Support:

  • Collaborate with the Events and Communications Coordinator to promote events through digital channels.
  • Support volunteer recruitment and coordination for events, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Assist with any ongoing or new NBCRI events.

Corporate Engagement

  • Assist the Director of Operations with identifying and engaging potential corporate partners.

General Support:

  • Provide support in maintaining NBCRI’s website, ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Assist in preparing reports on digital and engagement activities for internal review.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices to enhance NBCRI’s online presence and engagement strategies.
  • Adhoc duties as required by the Chairperson and/or Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for digital marketing, social media, and making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

This is a one year fixed term position based in the NBCRI Offices at Symptomatic Breast Unit, UHG, Galway.
