‘Box in Pink’ Raises €9,784 for Breast Cancer Research

Chairperson of CancerSoc at University of Galway, Anne Duchesne presents a cheque for €9,784.50 to Patrick Casey, Operations Manager National Breast Cancer Research Institute. The money was raised from CancerSoc’s recent ‘Box in Pink’ event for the charity which was held at the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

The fight night had more than 30 students train for over 6 weeks to prepare for the event with 15 fights taking place on the night all to help raise funds for breast cancer research.
