Biobanking is increasingly recognised as a scientific discipline. Hosted by the Cancer Biobank and the Institute for Clinical Trials at the University of Galway, the aim is to provide a forum for stakeholders working in translational medicine to discuss the challenges and opportunities of biobanking, ultimately to develop the highest standards of biobanking locally and with our national networks.
