Cancer Biobank Symposium 2023 at University of Galway

The second Cancer Biobank symposium on biobanking will take place on September 1st at the University of Galway. This is a FREE conference supported by National Breast Cancer Research Institute research funding.

Biobanking is increasingly recognised as a scientific discipline. Hosted by the Cancer Biobank and the Institute for Clinical Trials at the University of Galway, the aim is to provide a forum for stakeholders working in translational medicine to discuss the challenges and opportunities of biobanking, ultimately to develop the highest standards of biobanking locally and with our national networks.

The short video below will explain why BioBanks are important in housing tissue and blood samples.
