Devitt Alpha Sports Challenge

Our breast cancer research team at the Lambe Institute, University of Galway, were delighted to have a surprise visit from honorary Professors for the day, Sam, Dylan and Amy Devitt recently.

The siblings took on the challenge of doing every sport of the Alphabet (Devitt Alpha Sports Challenge) to support their Aunty Elaine who is currently going through treatment for breast cancer.

Not only did they smash the challenge, the trio managed to raise an incredible €6,700 for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

What a fantastic way to show their support for their Aunt Elaine while helping to fund breast cancer research. Well Done Guys!
