Tea at theg – g Hotel, Galway

To help celebrate October, breast cancer awareness month, the pink carpet will be rolled out again at the g Hotel, Galway on Sunday, 8^th October, to welcome ‘Tea at the g’ in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

The annual event kicks off at 3pm with a sparkling reception in the newly decorated grand salon followed by an afternoon tea of delicious treats from the creative culinary team at the g.

Proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute research team based at the Lambe Institute, University of Galway. The institute-funded researchers are currently working on major national and international projects to improve the diagnosis and treatment for those diagnosed with breast cancer, where current statistics show that 1 in 7 Irish women will develop breast cancer before they reach the age of 75 with over 3,500 cases diagnosed annually.

Sponsored by Tom Doyle Motors, Loughrea once again, the charity event promises to be a real treat filled day with fun, music and good food. Celebrated vocalist Nicola McGuire will supply music and song plus guests will be treated to a very special performance from the UBFIT Forever Choir.
