Will You ‘Walk in Pink’ for breast cancer research this Mother’s Day? That’s what the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI|) are asking everyone to help them get one step closer to a cure. Take a stroll, walk the dog, get together with family and friends on Mother’s Day, Sunday 30th March and help make a difference for the many Irish women dealing with breast cancer.
1 in 7 Irish women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, with over 3,587 cases diagnosed annually. Funds raised from the walk will go directly to support the breast cancer research team at the Lambe Institute, University of Galway.
To take part, simply register online at: www.WalkInPink.ie for €25 and you’ll also get a FREE ‘Walk in Pink’ Bobble Hat, so let’s get walking for breast cancer research this Mother’s Day.
*PLEASE NOTE: To have your bobble hat in time for ‘Walk in Pink’ day, 30th March, please register before 12pm on Tuesday, 25th March. any sign-up we receive after that time will still get the hat, but we cannot guarantee you will have it by Walk in Pink day.
