Play in Pink, the golf fundraising arm of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute has announced the continuation of their fantastic partnership with The Buggyman where a Play in Pink Golf Buggy is available to win in a 2025 raffle.
This initiative started in 2024 when The Buggyman donated a buggy to Play in Pink, with Jennifer Bollard from Dublin being drawn as the winner and the Buggyman has once again committed to the partnership which raised over €8000 for the charity last year.
“We are so privileged to have such wonderful corporate partners for Play in Pink”, said Frances Boyle, National Co-Ordinator for Play in Pink. “Each year we see huge interest in Play in Pink events in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute but it’s initiatives like this from The Buggyman that really help us to reach our goal of generating increased funds for breast cancer research, we simply cannot thank them enough for their donation and continued support.” Aoife Cullen from The Buggyman commented, “We love working with Play in Pink and this is such a great charity to be involved with. We are delighted to extend this partnership into 2025 and we look forward to seeing the pink buggy at lots of events again this year.”
Play in Pink enjoyed another fantastic year in 2024 with over 220 golf clubs around Ireland taking part in Play in Pink – an Official Charity Partner of Golf Ireland, raising €779,000 which goes directly to fund research into breast cancer – currently affecting one in seven Irish women before the age of 75.
